  • SLR: A picture once clicked in an SLR camera cannot be deleted because of the use of plastic film in it.

  • DSLR: A picture clicked in a DSLR camera can be deleted or removed easily just with a single click.

5th Difference

  • SLR: We cannot edit or print SLRs photo easily because of the use of film in it.

  • DSLR: We can edit or print DSLRs photo easily by just inserting its memory card into a computer.

6th Difference

  • SLR: SLR camera uses old technology to click photographs, because of which it is not used that much nowadays.

  • DSLR: DSLR camera uses new modern technology to click photographs.

7th Difference

  • SLR: It is difficult to maintain an SLR because of its old technology and the use of plastic films.

  • DSLR: It is easier to maintain a DSLR because of its modern technology and the use of memory cards.
